January 1, 2007 is The Big Day!

Amy and Josette, back when a cigar was just a cigar

Guess who's going to turn 40 on January 1, 2007?

That's right! My friend and yours, Amy!

And to celebrate this momentous occasion, I've created a blog where we can all share our favorite "My Friend, Amy" stories and send Amy our best wishes for the next 40+.

Check back often as I add more photos! And, if you have any photos of Amy to share, send them along by clicking on the EMAIL link above to the right.

To add your birthday wish, just click on the word COMMENTS below (or in any of the future posts). You don't have to have a Blogger account to add comments, but make sure to at least sign with your first name.

Happy Birthday, Amy!

Amy,

Welcome to the club. Being a member for a few short months, I continue on my quest to make the next 40 better than the first. I hope the same for you.

Congratulations,
George H.

Amy my sweet sister, I want you to know that I forgive you for hanging me on doorknobs as a child. On a more serious note, your influence has been the soundtrack of my life. Whether cruising across a prairie in Nebraska listening to Donna and the Buffalo or just chilling on the CA coast listening to the Sim Redmond Band, you have always been with me. I wish I wasn't so far away, I wish you the very best b-day ever. I wish I was there to give you a big hug.

Amy,
I accepted the challenge of 40 on June 12, just a day after Anita, if my 40-ish memory serves me well. So, it is with this recognition of "40" that I ask you to do the same. It is after all the new 30....I also want to thank you for introducing me to the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test back in 1981, had you not done that for me, I may still be reading Danielle Steele and other forms of mental masterbation. Go in Peace to love and serve the Lord!
